Your Store - Money Makers: Fabric Care's Success
Jim Manis, Fabric Care "I wanted to replace my Milnors with something better. So I waited 30 years and got new Milnors."

Jim Manis bought new Milnor C4E coin machines to replace the eight older models in his Fabric Care coin store in Chattanooga, Tenn. As a third-generation coin store owneroperator, he’s learned from experience what his customers look for when they walk in.

“They’ve always preferred large, frontload machines,” Manis said. “This has been a part of our success for over 40 years.”

Manis said that Milnor’s coin-operated machines draw customers because they look like professional washers and have the capacity to get their loads washed quickly.

“Milnor machines have a distinctive look that appeals to my customers,” Manis said. “We’ve had several stores come into our market and we’re usually the only ones with Milnor. Most competitors have gone out of business.”

Milnor’s C4E coin machines offer features like seven wash formulas with programmable vend prices, single-motor inverter drive and card reader compatibility. They last so long because they’re built so well. Continuous welding, tapered roller bearings, rigid steel bearing housings and durable frames all contribute to years of revenue generation for their owners. (It’s why used Milnors – if you can find them – are worth much more than other brands.)

As an added incentive, Manis took advantage of a $300 trade-in rebate for each of the eight Milnor machines that he replaced. (All of the old machines were still earning money for him right up until they were removed from his store.)
